Kerlink ranked in the 2018 list of French Tech inventors

Kerlink ranks 15th among France’s most inventive companies, based on its 11 patents, in the 2018 list of inventors of the French Tech, a French government initiative that aims to support French start-ups.

This ranking confirms Kerlink’s strong performance and expansion, particularly internationally, as a leading provider of LoRaWANTM IoT networks – mixing infrastructure and solutions for core network operation and management solutions – and its strategic acceleration as a network-as-a-service (NaaS) provider for the IoT.

Kerlink’s growth jumped 75.4 percent to €24.8 million in 2017, more than 50 percent of which stemmed from international business. Kerlink Group has invested more than €11 million euros in R&D over the past three years in its commitment to continue bringing innovation and value to its clients.

This top 20 list was established on the basis of companies created in the past 15 years identified by a variety of magazines as champions and their number of inventions reflected in patents. As each invention can be the subject of several patents, for example one in France, one in China and one in the United States, the number of patent submissions was used to separate companies that tied.

Brittany, where Kerlink is based, ranked as part of the top three regions in terms of patents and also in number of startups.
