YEAP! is an established and innovative telecom company with experience throughout Latin America. It created what is now the Movistar Network (MOVICOM), which operates in Spain and 13 Central and South American countries, and launched CTI Movil, now America Movil, a leading provider of integrated telecommunications services in Latin America. The Buenos Aires-based company created YEAP! in early 2017, with the vision of deploying LoRaWAN Internet of Things (IoT) networks throughout South America.

YEAP! and Kerlink’s nationwide deployment of Argentina’s LoraWAN network now reaches 50 sites in Buenos Aires, Greater Bueno Aires, Cordoba, Rosario and Santa Fe, and is expected to be completed by the end of 2018. Stating in 2018, the Kerlink and YEAP! team will bring the IoT to Uruguay and Paraguay, providing low power, wide area connectivity for businesses and municipalities to support use cases for smart agriculture, smart energy and asset tracking and management.
