Kerlink gateways compliant with the RED Cyber Directive

Kerlink strengthens its position as a trusted and cybersecurity-driven IoT partner by confirming the RED Cyber Compliance of its Wirnet gateway series for the European market. The European RED Delegated Act (UE) 2022/30, in force since August 1st, 2025, defines cybersecurity rules for network and data protection for all Internet-connected radio devices sold within the European Union.

Kerlink’s gateways (the Wirnet iZeptoCell, Wirnet iStation, and Wirnet iFemtoCell serie) meet these requirements by complying with the EU harmonized standards EN 18031-1: 2024 and EN 18031-2: 2024. The latest version of our high standard operating system, KerOS 6.4, introduces evolutions that reinforce each product’s cybersecurity architecture. Updated Declarations of Conformity are available on Kerlink’s website.

Kerlink gateways guarantee a high level of protection for users and networks by integrating essential cybersecurity mechanisms, that ensure:

  • Users and devices authentication
  • Confidentiality and integrity of data at rest and in transit
  • The use of standard protocols and recognized cryptographic solutions
  • The availability of secure update features

“RED Cyber compliance is the result of a long-term effort to embed security into every layer of our gateways,” said Yann Bauduin, Chief Sales Officer at Kerlink. “By aligning our development process with EN 18031 standards and integrating these principles into KerOS 6.4, we ensure that customers benefit from robust, future-proof devices that protect both networks and data.”

Kerlink offers peace of mind to clients and partners who need to deploy and operate their networks securely and confidently. As a trusted partner, Kerlink ensures its solutions meet the highest cybersecurity standards while supporting reliable IoT networks.
